TKA, You Raised Over $300,000 for Knights Annual Fund!
Dear TKA Community,
Knight At The Museum was a resounding success in every way. Our community gathered in the Paul M. Spates Gym beautifully transformed into The King's Academy Museum, and TKA faculty, staff and parents creatively took the theme even further, arriving in costumes and "wearable art." And, who can forget our Oscar-worthy historical figures who stayed in character, motionless for 30 minutes!
We hope you enjoyed this community-building event. You can view photos of the event here (photo credit: TKA parent, Gordon Kelly). Feel free to download the pictures as a keepsake of a "Knight" to remember!
We are pleased to announce that the entire auction event, including the live auction, online auction, raffle ticket sales, spin-to-win, and donations raised over $300,000 for the Knights Annual Fund. The never-ending generosity of our community is astounding.
We are so thankful for the evening's corporate sponsors, underwriters, auction donors, auction bidders and endless volunteers who all helped make this a magnificent event. We would like to extend a special thank you to the TKA staff and the Facilities Department, whose efforts contributed to the success of the event.
Working on this fundraising event is a wonderful way to get to know other TKA parents in all grade levels while working towards a common goal. If you are interested in helping out, please let Josephine.loy@tka.org know.
We are deeply grateful to each and every person who helped make our Knight at the Museum spectacular.
Best,
Scott Meadows
